Hello and welcome! I currently serve as the Pastor of the Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. We are a loving, inclusive, and justice-minded congregation that seeks to nurture deep community internally and follow the example of Christ in caring for the needs of the world beyond our walls and membership.
I graduated from Western Theological Seminary and was ordained in 2003, and have spent the last fifteen years preaching, teaching, and writing on practical theology, liturgical practice, community engagement, and individual and collective faith lived out in increasingly secular society. In my free time, I’m a singer, guitar player, and sometime songwriter, rabid Red Wings fan, frequent traveler, and servant/companion to my contrarian hound, Laila.
