Hello and welcome! I currently serve as the Pastor of the Mt. Auburn Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. We are a loving, inclusive, and justice-minded congregation that seeks to nurture deep community internally and follow the example of Christ in caring for the needs of the world beyond our walls and membership.
I graduated from Western Theological Seminary and was ordained in the Reformed Church in America in 2003. In 2019 I transferred my credentials to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and am a member of the Presbytery of Cincinnati. I’ve spent the last seventeen years preaching, teaching, and writing on practical theology, liturgical practice, community engagement, and individual and collective faith and spiritual practice. In my free time, I’m a singer, guitar player, and sometime songwriter, rabid Red Wings fan, food and beverage nerd, frequent traveler, and companion/chauffeur/servant to my black Lab, Valkyrie.
